Q: What should I do if my login screen triggers a "CreateServiceW 1072" prompt?

A: Please try restarting your computer.

Q: What should I do if my login screen triggers a "StartServiceW31" prompt?

A: We recommend running an antivirus scan and restarting your computer.

Q: If my login screen triggers a "A D3D11-compatible GPU…is required to run the engine" prompt, what should I do?

A: There may be a driver issue. Try repairing/reinstalling the driver.

Q: What should I do if the game gets stuck on the logo during startup or fails to run?

A:

1. Check if your driver version is up to date.

Method 1:

Open "Run," type "dxdiag," and click "OK." See the picture below.

Select "Display" to view your driver version.

Method 2:

Right click on "This PC," then open "Properties."

Open "Device Manager."

Find the "Display adapters" and the corresponding graphics card, then right click on "Properties."

Choose "Driver" to view your driver version.

2. Check the latest driver version for your graphics card. If the driver is not up to date, please download the latest version and install it.

3. Try to install the .net and VC++ 64-bit environments. Here are the download links:

.net environment: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=48137

If the .net environment fails to install properly, please try resetting your computer.

Step-by-step: Open the Start menu, go to "Settings," then to "Update & Security." Select "Recovery," then click on "Get started." Before proceeding, make sure to double check if a backup is needed.

Visual C++ 64-bit Environment: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170

If the installation fails and prompts for other versions, please try uninstalling or repairing any previously installed, older versions.

Q: What should I do if my login screen triggers a "StartServiceW 2" prompt?

A: Try verifying the integrity of the game files.

In your Steam library, find the game, right-click, select "Properties," choose "Local Files," then click "Verify integrity of game files."

Q: My Nvidia graphics card supports DLSS, but the game indicates that this feature cannot be enabled. What should I do?

A: Your graphics card driver may not be updated to the latest version (certain third-party driver software may not display available updates, leading players to believe that the driver is already up-to-date when it isn't). Try updating the graphics card driver, cleaning memory or disk space.

If updating the graphics card driver still poses problems, please consider uninstalling the driver and performing a clean installation.

You can download Nvidia GeForce Experience from: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/geforce-experience/download/

Q: I receive an error message about "DirectX Runtime" when I launch the game. What should I do?

A: If you encounter this error message, try downloading and installing the most up-to-date DirectX driver before launching the game. If the issue persists after installation, consider downloading and installing the VC++ runtime library.

Q: The game does not display properly, or the visual effects appear abnormal. What should I do?

A: 1. Ensure correct installation of the graphics card: connect your monitor to your dedicated graphics card to maximize your computer's performance and enjoy smoother gaming.

2. If the monitor is correctly connected but the display is still abnormal, seek further assistance:

1) Is the dedicated graphics card functioning properly? Check for correct connections and power supply issues.

2) Are the dedicated graphics card drivers up to date? Visit the official website of your graphics card manufacturer for the latest drivers.

Q: The game crashes abruptly, and when I relaunch it, I get an "Out of video memory…" message. What should I do?

A: We recommend checking the computer's disk capacity, ensuring that the remaining space in the client's download directory is sufficient.

1. Close other applications.

2. Clean up the C drive space, ensuring that the remaining space is at least 1.5 times the physical memory.

3. Increase physical memory (at least 8GB is required).

Q: How do I handle game startup failures or other game-running issues?

A: After confirming that your configuration meets requirements, try updating the graphics card drivers or performing operations like clearing memory or disk space. If updating the graphics card drivers still causes issues, consider uninstalling and reinstalling them, selecting a clean installation in the options.

1. Try disabling antivirus software or other security software on your computer.

2. Use driver management software to check for the existence of the sound card driver. If it exists, please uninstall the driver.

3. If other abnormal situations occur, please privately message an administrator on Discord.

4. If you've overclocked your computer's CPU/GPU/memory, and the game is unstable, please disable the overclocking function.

5. If your computer has a high configuration and the graphics card is mounted vertically, and you encounter startup failures or crashing issues, switch the graphics card to a horizontal position.

Q: After starting the game, all my screens go black for a few seconds and then recover. What should I do?

A: Please try updating your graphics card drivers. If the issue still persists after updating the graphics card drivers, please consider uninstalling the driver and then reinstalling it, selecting a clean installation in the options.

Q: After starting the game, the screen keeps flickering. What should I do?

A: Press Alt+Z to open the GeForce Experience panel, then disable Nvidia Instant Replay. Alternatively, revert GeForce Experience to an older version.

Q: My CPU is an i9-13900K/i9-14900K, a high-end processor. It frequently crashes when starting games. What should I do?

A: If your system is equipped with 13th/14th Gen Intel Core desktop processors, please update to the latest BIOS by following the instructions provided by Intel or your motherboard manufacturer. Here's the BIOS update procedure:

Search for the "Intel Product Compatibility Tool" on the platform: Intel Product Compatibility Tool.

Enter your product model, select the corresponding motherboard, and download/update the BIOS (microcode 0X12B) from the motherboard manufacturer's official website.

In the BIOS interface, locate and select 'Intel Default Settings', save the configuration, and restart the system.

Users experiencing persistent instability should contact their system manufacturer (OEM/system integrator), Intel Customer Support (for boxed processors), or their point of purchase (for Tray processors) for further assistance.

• BIOS updates will not compromise Turbo Boost performance or K-series overclocking capabilities.

Q: After launching the game from Steam, the "Phanuel Anti-Cheat" progress bar reaches 100% but the game does not start, and the Steam button returns to "Launch." What should I do?

6. Restart your computer and launch the game again.

Q: After launching the game, a pop-up says "Please enable Secure Boot before playing. What should I do?

A: You need to enable Secure Boot in the BIOS. Due to differences in motherboard models and BIOS versions, the specific steps may vary. You can look up how to modify it based on your motherboard. Below are some setup guides for different motherboards:

If you have an ASUS motherboard, during the computer startup, press "F8," "ESC," or "Delete" to access the UEFI/Legacy BIOS interface. In the BIOS interface, switch to the "Boot" tab, find "Secure Boot" menu, change the OS type to "Windows UEFI Mode," and set the Secure Boot Mode to "Custom." If you have an MSI motherboard, during the startup process, press the "Delete" key to enter the BIOS setup interface -> Press "F7" to enter Advanced Mode -> Click on "Settings" in the left menu bar, then select "Security" -> In the "Security" menu, find "Trusted Computing" or similar security-related settings. In "Security Device Support," select "Enable" to enable this feature -> If your motherboard supports TPM (Trusted Platform Module), select the appropriate setting in the TPM device options, such as "PTT" (Platform Trust Technology) -> Press F10 to save and exit, then restart your computer and launch the game.

Q: After starting the game, the anti-cheat progress bar in the lower right corner disappears halfway, and the game cannot start. What should I do?

A: Currently, the game requires the CPU to support the BMI2 instruction set for startup. For players whose CPUs do not support BMI2, please stay tune for future updates.
